I am Alfredo, Italian of Genoese origin, and I have been living in Oslo for many years. I know both Italian and Scandinavian culture well, and it is precisely from this dual perspective that The Italian Riviera was born.

For me, Liguria is not just an attractive destination. It is a place I know personally: the seaside villages, the Riviera light, the Mediterranean vegetation, the scent of basil and sea salt, and that unique way in which time seems to slow down. It is easy to fall in love with it.

What is much more difficult, however, is truly finding your way through the buying process as a foreigner. After years spent between Italy and Norway, I came to understand one thing very clearly: many Scandinavian clients are drawn to the idea of owning a home on the Italian Riviera, but when they begin to explore the process, they often find themselves facing a system that feels unfamiliar, made up of procedures, documents, costs, and local dynamics that are not always easy to understand.

I do not present myself as a real estate agency, nor do I replace surveyors, notaries, or tax advisers. My role is a different one: to be a reliable point of reference, someone able to understand both realities and help you better read the context, ask the right questions, and assess the first steps of the process more clearly.

I created the service that, in a similar situation, I myself would have wanted to find: someone able to communicate clearly in English while bridging both cultures, not only in words but in the deeper cultural sense as well.

My goal is to help Scandinavian clients, and foreign buyers more generally, approach the Ligurian property market in a way that is simpler, more transparent, and more realistic. Because the Italian dream is even more beautiful when it is built on solid foundations.
